Hello Chidinma, it’s good to have you here. Let’s meet you and tell us about your business
My name is Chidinma Onyeiwu and I am the founder of Pancake Boss, a breakfast business.
That’s such a cool business name. How long have you been running your business?
I’ve been running my business for 2 years officially but nearly 3 years unofficially
Safe to say you are a PRO in this. Describe a major highlight of your business.
A major highlight was when I got to handle corporate catering for 4 days, the reviews and satisfaction from our clients were amazing.
Wow, that’s awesome! What do you enjoy most about being an entrepreneur?
The constant inflow of funds, to be very honest. Also being able to come up with a concept and bring it to life on a plate. It’s very exciting, I never get bored.
That fund inflow is very important, bills have to be paid and nothing beats enjoying what you do. What are some of the challenges you’ve faced or still face since you started?
The power supply in Lagos is really poor and has greatly affected my business. Logistics was a major issue too, but I have been able to get around it better this year.
Doing business in Nigeria is so hard. How do you deal with these challenges?
I pray about it first, because Christ is the foundation of my life and business, He then leads me through advice from friends and family. That's how I'm dealing with the logistics issue. Praying, planning, and staying positive.
How did you hear about Catlog and why did you decide to sign up?
I heard about it through Silas, he pitched the idea to me and it sounded like something I wanted to try out.
